Work at this private residence included the development of a comprehensive master plan for site improvements followed by the preparation of detailed construction drawings and planting plans for each phase of work.  Located on a hill just outside the City of Rochester, this site features outstanding views of the city’s skyline.  One of the principal design objectives was to create a series of terraces which emphasize these powerful views using simple forms that are compatible with the International Style of the residence.  Other important components of the project include a rooftop garden over the garage, several stairway connections to the lower levels of the property, and extensive plantings of ornamental shrubs, perennials, and grasses.
